Srinagar: On the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), key leaders and administration officials of Jammu and Kashmir—including the Deputy Chief Minister, Cabinet Ministers, and Divisional Commissioner Kashmir—extended warm greetings to the people across the region, urging everyone to embrace the timeless virtues of peace, compassion, and unity.
In their individual messages, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary, along with Cabinet Ministers Sakeena Itoo (Health, Social Welfare & Education), Satish Sharma (FCS&CA, IT, YSS, S&T, ARI & Trainings), Javid Ahmad Dar (Agriculture & Rural Development), and Javed Ahmed Rana (Jal Shakti, Forest & Tribal Affairs), emphasized that the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) serves as a universal beacon of light. They highlighted that his teachings of truth, justice, humility, and selfless service hold everlasting relevance for humanity.
The leaders noted that the true spirit of the sacred occasion lies in practicing empathy, patience, and forgiveness, while actively supporting the needy and underprivileged. They expressed hope that the day would strengthen communal harmony, foster mutual respect, and inspire citizens to work collectively for the progress and well-being of the region.
Joining the leaders, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anshul Garg, also conveyed his heartfelt wishes to the people. Praying for peace, happiness, and prosperity across Jammu and Kashmir, Garg emphasized the essential values of tolerance, brotherhood, and peaceful coexistence to build a harmonious society.
Together, the leadership prayed for enduring peace, stability, and growth, hoping the holy occasion deeply unites communities across the region.
