Srinagar :Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday directed the School Education Department to complete its inquiry into the incident involving a young schoolgirl in Kishtwar within one month, stressing the need for a thorough and time-bound process.
The Chief Minister directed the concerned authorities to complete the inquiry expeditiously and take all necessary steps to bring the matter to its logical conclusion.
He stressed that the matter must be dealt with firmly and that stringent and exemplary action should follow, based on the findings of the inquiry.
The Chief Minister underscored the importance of ensuring that the inquiry is conducted comprehensively and without unnecessary delay so that appropriate action can be taken in accordance with the findings.
