Reasi : Security forces launched a extensive Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in the remote, hilly pockets of Pouni in Reasi district following credible intelligence regarding suspicious movement in the vicinity.
Sources said that local residents first spotted unknown individuals moving through the forested area and promptly alerted local police authorities. In response, joint operational teams comprising the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the Indian Army, and the Special Operations Group (SOG) established a tight security grid around the suspected locations and adjoining hamlets. Security personnel are conducting meticulous search sweeps through challenging terrain to locate the individuals, verify their credentials, and ensure the complete security of the surrounding rural zone.
