Srinagar : Assistant Exhibition & Cultural Officer of the Department of Information and Public Relations, Syed Shakeel Andrabi, popularly known as Syed Shakeel Shan, was conferred the Award of Excellence by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah during the Independence Day function at Bakhshi Stadium, Srinagar.
The award recognises his contribution to broadcasting, literature, culture and public communication.
Andrabi has worked across broadcasting, anchoring, writing, poetry, music and cultural activities and has contributed to public-awareness and government communication initiatives through DIPR.
He expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister, administration, colleagues and mentors for the recognition and said the honour would motivate him to continue contributing to communication and cultural outreach.
