KPDCL announces shutdown in various parts of Valley

Srinagar : Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL has informed that the Shutdown of 33 kV RangrethWanbalDoodhgangaTapline will be observed due to which power supply to Kralpora, Wanbal, SIDCO and adjoining areas will be affected from 10 AM to 12 Noon on 09 August 2026.

Similarly, shutdown of 33 kV Cheshmashahi-TRC-Nedous line will be observed due to which power supply to CM residence/ Dy. CM residence/ Rabita House/ DC Residence and adjoining areas of Gupkar area (Gupkar, Church Lane, Radio Kashmir, CD Hospital, Kohnakhan, JK Bank Head Office, Lal Chowk, Chief Justice Residence and adjoining areas. Regal Chowk, IMPA, Banquet Hall, MLA Hostel and adjoining areas and Paras Hospital will be affected from 10 AM to 02 PM on 04 August 2026.

Likewise, shutdown of 33 kV AmargarhNowpora line will be observed due to which power supply to Nowpora, Seelo, Achabal, Behrampora, Bomai, Bugoo and adjoining areas will be affected from 08 AM to 02 PM on 10 & 12 August 2026.

Likewise, shutdown of 33 kV Arampora Kupwara Old, Galizoo Tap line will be observed due to which power supply to Kupwara Town -B, Zangli, Whole Lolab&Machil Valley and adjoining areas will be affected from 08 AM to 02 PM on 08 & 10 August 2026.

Similarly, shutdown of 33 kV Tral-1st (Tapline Chewa) will be observed due to which power supply to Chewa, TraliBaala, Bajwani, Khalil, Bathnoor, Hayina and adjoining areas will be affected from 08 AM to 02 PM on 06, 09 & 11 August 2026.
