CM was excited to meet Students who Got Placements, Scholarships for Academics Performances

Yamunanagar : The ‘Utkarsh 2026′ event, organized by GNK Group of Institutions in collaboration with Jamna Auto Industries Ltd was held recently  at Guru Nanak Khalsa College in Yamunanagar, Haryana.

The celebration was attended by notable dignitaries, including the Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini, who praised the initiative for promoting student achievements and advancing education, employability, sports, women’s empowerment, and social welfare through corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts. During his address, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of providing quality education and industry-relevant skills to empower youth, thereby contributing to a self-reliant Haryana. He acknowledged the holistic development fostered by GNK Group of Institutions, which aligns with the teachings of Sh. Guru Nanak Dev ji, assuring parents of their children’s well-being in the institution’s care. The event celebrated the theme of progress and excellence, recognizing students who excelled academically, achieved placements, and succeeded in sports. A significant aspect of the ceremony was the recognition of community welfare initiatives under Jamna Auto Industries’ CSR program. The Chief Minister honored students who secured placements, awarded scholarships for academic excellence, and recognized sports achievers. Additionally, the event highlighted women’s empowerment by distributing sewing machines to trained women, bicycles to girls to promote education, and mobile devices to enhance digital learning opportunities. Prof. (Dr.) Peer G. N. Suhail, Group CEO of GNK Group of Institutions, articulated that ‘Utkarsh’ serves as a platform for recognizing hard work and reinforcing the commitment to integrating education with skill development and social responsibility. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from S. Randeep Singh Johar, expressing gratitude to all participants and stakeholders for their contributions to the success of ‘Utkarsh 2026.’ This event underscored the collaborative efforts of GNK Group of Institutions and Jamna Auto Industries Ltd. in fostering academic excellence, skill development, and community welfare.
