Anantnag Police Establishes High-Rise Machan Morchas to Enhance Security for Amarnath Yatra
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterWhatsappTelegramEmail

Anantnag, June 22: In its continued efforts to ensure a safe and secure Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2026, Anantnag Police has established strategically located high-rise observation posts, commonly known as Machan Morchas, at key locations along the Yatra route and other vulnerable points.

These elevated deployment points provide security personnel with an enhanced field of vision, enabling continuous surveillance and close monitoring of the surrounding areas. The initiative reflects the proactive approach of Anantnag Police in maintaining a vigilant watch over the pilgrimage route and strengthening the overall security grid.

The Machan Morchas have been positioned to facilitate effective area domination, early detection of suspicious activity, and swift response to any emerging situation. Trained personnel deployed at these vantage points remain on constant alert, ensuring comprehensive coverage and coordinated security arrangements.

Anantnag Police is committed to providing a peaceful, safe, and secure environment for all pilgrims undertaking the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2026 and continues to implement robust security measures in coordination with all stakeholders.
