JKAACL organises release of Suham Prakash by Prem Nath Pandita

Jammu :The J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) Tuesday organised a book release function for Suham Prakash, written by author Prem Nath Pandita (Prem), at KL Saigal Hall, Jammu.

Dr Ratan Talashi graced the occasion as Chief Guest, while Additional Secretary JKAACL Sonali Arun Gupta presided over the function. Chief Editor (Gojri) JKAACL Dr Javaid Rahi, ML Pandita and the author Prem Nath Pandita (Prem) were present in the presidium.

In her welcome address, Sonali Arun Gupta emphasised the contemporary relevance of such literary works and their contribution to the understanding of religion and culture. Speakers elaborated on Suham Prakash, underlining the author’s devotion to spiritual and cultural themes.

Dr Rahi noted that Kashmiri Pandits represent an intellectually significant segment of the country and have distinguished themselves through scholarly contributions. Dr Roshan Lal Saraf recited a poem dedicated to his friend Prem Nath Pandita. ML Pandita presented a detailed paper on the book, highlighting its thematic depth and cultural relevance, while Vijay Walli also read a paper on the work.

Dr Talashi appreciated the literary contribution reflected in the work. The author shared details of his poetic journey and creative experiences.

The cultural segment featured a musical presentation by singer Rishabh Dorji, accompanied by Joginder Pal on tabla and Rakesh Jasotra on flute. The rendition of poems by Prem Nath Pandita (Prem) was warmly received by the audience.
