Kishtwar :Under the directions of Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Kumar Sharma, the Labour Department Kishtwar, led by ALC MamtaSudershan Thursday handed over compensation to the family of the late Yasir Hussain, a resident of NowapachiMarwah, who was working as a labourer and lost his life in a workplace accident.
An amount of ₹15.20 lakh (Fifteen Lakh Twenty Thousand Only) was transferred by Cholamandlam MS General Insurance into the account of ALC Kishtwar, who formally handed over the cheque to the bereaved family.
ACL MamtaSudershan expressed heartfelt condolences to the family and reiterated the Labour Department’s commitment to providing timely support and welfare to employees and their families affected by workplace accidents.
The initiative highlights the Labour Department’s dedication to ensuring worker safety and offering financial relief to families impacted by tragic incidents at project sites.
