Budgam : SBI RSETI RambanTuesday inaugurated a Soft Toys Making Training Program at Dharmound, continuing its push toward practical skill development and self-employment generation.
The inauguration was attended by the Lead District Manager (LDM) Davinder Singh as the Chief Guest along with Cluster Coordinator NRLM (National Rural Livelihoods Mission) Ajay Kumar, reflecting institutional backing—but the real test will be what participants actually build from this training, not just attendance on day one.
The program is being conducted under the overall supervision of Director RSETI S Harvinder Singh, ensuring structured delivery and alignment with entrepreneurship goals rather than just skill exposure.
During the session, officials stressed the importance of converting training into income. That’s the part most programs fail at—skills without market linkage are just hobbies. Participants were encouraged to treat this as a business opportunity, not a routine course.
The training aims to equip candidates with hands-on skills in soft Toys making, with a clear objective: enable them to start micro-enterprises or generate sustainable income.
The outcome will depend entirely on execution, consistency and whether follow-up support actually happens.
The inauguration saw active participation from candidates, but the real success of the program would be measured in the number of trainees who become earning entrepreneurs in the coming months.
