Moscow, April 28 (Sputnik/UNI) Following a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi thanked Russia for its solidarity and welcomed Moscow’s support for diplomacy.
On Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Araghchi in St. Petersburg.
“Pleased to engage with Russia at the highest level as the region is in major flux. Recent events have evidenced the depth and strength of our strategic partnership. As our relationship continues to grow, we are grateful for solidarity and welcome Russia’s support for diplomacy,” Araghchi said on X.
He also published photographs of himself with Putin and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
