DDC Budgam reviews progress on key projects in district

Athar directs timely preparation of DPRs of balance & addl components

 

Budgam :District Development Commissioner (DDC) Budgam, Athar Aamir Khan Friday chaired a review meeting at the New Conference Hall, Budgam to assess the progress of major infrastructure and healthcare projects in the district.

The meeting focused on several projects including the construction of the 125-bedded District Hospital and the 100-bedded Critical Care Hospital at Reshipora, status of the Chadoora Bridge, progress on the Magam By-Pass, and establishment of a laboratory for Sub-District Hospital Khansahib along with an additional block.

During the meeting, the DC conducted a detailed review of the physical and financial progress of the project components already alloted and reviewed the status of the DPRs for the additional and balance critical compnents including oxygen plants, Electric and Water Supply Infra, STP/ETP etc.

Reviewing the status of Chadoora Bridge, the DC sought updates on the DPR of the restoration of the bridge with technical assistance from NIT Srinagar.

The status of construction of Additional block and advanced lab at Khansahib was also reviewed, the bottlenecks and issues were resolved.  Daily progress reporting was directed for all the projects.

The meeting was attended by senior officers including Superintending Engineers of PWD (R&B) and Hydraulic Circle Budgam, Chief Medical Officer Budgam, Medical Superintendent District Hospital Budgam, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Chadoora, Tehsildar Magam, Executive Engineers from various departments including R&B, KPDCL, Jal Shakti, Mechanical Engineering, consultants and executing agencies.
