Srinagar : Reinforcing its commitment to innovation and future-ready education, Green Valley Educational Institute (GVEI) on Saturday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chinar Quantum AI, a global leader in quantum-first AI solutions.

Marking a significant milestone, the collaboration will establish Jammu and Kashmir’s first school-anchored deep technology centre at GVEI, further positioning the institute as a pioneer in integrating Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies into school education.

Organised at the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL), the programme reflected GVEI’s vision of building a dynamic innovation ecosystem.

The collaboration introduces a structured, phase-wise curriculum in Artificial Intelligence, deep technology and robotics, with measurable outcomes. It will offer mentorship to students in industry-driven projects, prototype development opportunities, academics and provide hands-on exposure. The partnership will also guide the learning pathways, academic counselling and a gradual upgrade of physical and digital infrastructure at G.V.E.I.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Mr. Riyaz Kathjoo reflected on the institute’s journey towards excellence in both academic and co-curricular domains. He emphasised the school’s growing focus on cutting-edge fields such as Artificial Intelligence, stating that GVEI is committed to preparing students for the demands of the future.

Dr. Rukhsan-ul-Haq, CEO of Chinar Quantum AI, assured full support to the school and its growing talent pool. He encouraged students to embrace innovation and entrepreneurship, aligning themselves with global technological advancements.

Parents of students were also present on the occasion, actively engaging with the leadership of both institutes. They expressed enthusiasm, raised insightful queries, and appreciated the collaboration, extending their support towards such partnerships.
