New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday highlighted the significance of the India AI Impact Summit, describing it as a pivotal moment for the global utilization of artificial intelligence.
In his monthly radio broadcast “Mann Ki Baat” Prime Minister noted that international leaders were impressed by India’s advancements in AI, particularly in areas such as livestock management and the preservation of cultural heritage through technology. The summit showcased India’s capabilities in AI and marked the launch of three Made in India AI models, establishing it as the largest AI summit to date. Modi also addressed the rising concerns of online financial fraud and digital arrests, urging citizens, especially senior citizens, to remain vigilant and comply with KYC requests from banks to ensure the safety of their accounts. He reassured the public that such requests are standard procedures aimed at protecting their finances. In a nod to the T-20 World Cup, Modi celebrated the achievements of Indian-origin players representing other nations, emphasizing their connection to their roots and contributions to their adopted countries. He reiterated the importance of cultural identity and pride in Indian heritage. Additionally, Modi spoke about the ongoing efforts to move away from colonial symbols, highlighting the unveiling of a statue of C. Rajagopalachari at the Rashtrapati Bhavan as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations. He encouraged students preparing for exams, reminding them that their value is not solely defined by their academic performance. Lastly, he paid tribute to former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on her birth anniversary and acknowledged the revival of Kerala’s Mamangam tradition, which has historical significance.
