Bhaderwah : Under the ongoing Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Programme 2025–26, the District Industries Centre (DIC) Doda organised a district-level awareness cum outreach programme at Bhaderwah to sensitize entrepreneurs and stakeholders about various government initiatives aimed at strengthening the MSME sector.
The programme was conducted under the administrative control of Director Industries & Commerce Jammu Arun Manhas and the guidance of District Development Commissioner Doda Harvinder Singh. The event was held under the overall supervision of General Manager DIC Doda Mohd Ashfaq and coordinated by Functional Manager Jatinder Bharti and Industrial Promotion Officer Neeraj Sharma.
The programme aimed to create awareness among entrepreneurs, artisans, self-help groups and other stakeholders about key interventions and reform measures envisaged under the RAMP framework, in alignment with the approved Strategic Investment Plan (SIP) and operational guidelines.
During the programme, detailed information was shared regarding flagship self-employment and enterprise promotion schemes, including the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) and PM Vishwakarma Yojana. Participants were also apprised of various departmental initiatives aimed at strengthening Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and promoting traditional artisans in the district.
Special emphasis was laid on facilitating registration of existing and newly established units on the Udyam Registration Portal, enabling entrepreneurs to avail benefits such as credit linkage, subsidies, market access support and other promotional incentives offered by the government.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from local entrepreneurs and stakeholders, reflecting a positive response and growing awareness regarding government initiatives for enterprise development and employment generation in the district.
