World Unani Day 2026 celebrated at Women’s Degree College B’la

Baramulla : World Unani Day 2026 was celebrated with great enthusiasm and academic fervour at Women’s Degree College, Baramulla.
The programme was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa.
The event was organized to commemorate the rich legacy and contemporary relevance of the Unani system of medicine. This year’s theme, “Evidence Based & Innovations in Unani Medicine,” underscored the importance of scientific validation, research integration, and technological advancements in strengthening the classical foundations of Unani medicine.
The theme highlighted the need to bridge traditional wisdom with modern scientific methodologies to enhance global acceptance and expand its impact in the healthcare sector.
Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the significance of promoting traditional systems of medicine alongside modern healthcare practices.
