Kulgam: District Industries Centre (DIC) Kulgam in collaboration with MSME-DFO Srinagar Wednesday conducted an Awareness-cum-Capacity Building Programme under PM Vishwakarma.
Assistant Director, MSME-DFO Srinagar, Prinicipal Polytechnic, Faculty Member IUST, representative from Cluster Head J&K Bank, Industrial Promotion Officer and other officials of DIC Kulgam were present in the programme.
Mohammed Tariq Ishtiaq, Assistant Director, MSME, in his inaugural address, sensitized the participants about importance of Micro Business management. The status and achievements of PM Vishwakarma scheme in the district were briefed by the IPO, Kulgam.
The technical session by Adnan Ali Khan, faculty IUST, and the representative from Cluster Head J&K Bank on Entrepreneurship, pricing and market strategy for Small Businesses and Financial Literacy respectively were delivered to upgrade the skills of PM Vishwakarmas.
The programme was attended by over 100 PM Vishwakarmas of DIC Kulgam.
