SDM Khansahib conducted Public outreach Prog at Rawalpora

Budgam : Sub divisional administration KhanshibThursday held a public outreach program at Rawalpora, a far-flung Niabat of Khansahib Budgam.
The public darbar, presided over by SDM Khansahib, Jahangir Ahmed Giri, was also attended by all sub-divisional level officers including Tehsildar Khansahib, BMO Khansahib, AEE PDD, AEE Jal Shakti, AEE Irrigation, ZEO Hardupanzoo, officials from Horticulture, Agriculture, RDD, and other concerned departments.
A large number of locals including lumberdars and chowkidars of adjacent villages participated in the programme and highlighted various basic issues faced by the public.
The SDM Khansahib in his address directed all concerned officers to address the issues on priority and assured the public that their genuine grievances would be resolved at the earliest.
The general public was also informed about do’s and don’t s to be followed during winters in respect of use of heating appliances at homes .public was urged to make judicious use of power to prevent overloading and demage to transformers. Public was also encouraged to participate in Gram sabha’s to evolve participative and inclusive plans for rural development.
In addition, a medical camp was organised at the local high school for students under the supervision of BMO Khansahib ahead of their upcoming winter vacations. A team of doctors examined the children to ensure children stay healthy and fit during the winters.
