Nasha Mukt Abhiyan: Awareness camps organised across Rajouri Distt

Rajouri : As part of the ongoing district-wide awareness initiatives, Nasha Mukt Abhiyan, Awareness campaigns were Monday conducted across various blocks of Rajouri district.
‎‎The programmes were organized on the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Abhishek Sharma at different blocks including Rajouri, Darhal, Budhal Old, Budhal New, Kalakote, Nowshera, Sunderbani, Thanamandi, Manjakote, Khawas, Lamberi, Doongi, Dhangri, Moughla, Panjgrian, Planger, Qila Darhal, Seri and Siot amid enthusiastic participation from local residents. The events aimed to spread awareness about the ill effects of drug abuse and to promote a drug-free and healthy lifestyle.
‎‎The resource persons sensitised the participants about the perils of substance abuse, its impact on families and society and the importance of community participation in curbing the menace. The focus was not only on the health implications but also on the catastrophic societal impacts, particularly how it undermines the future of the youth. The sessions underscored the importance of maintaining a drug-free lifestyle and highlighted how every individual can contribute to building a stronger and healthier nation.
‎‎The Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan prioritizes building a united front against addiction, empowering youth and strengthening the societal fabric by emphasizing shared responsibility in securing a healthier and drug-free future for all.
