November 25: As part of the ongoing 150th Birth Anniversary Year celebrations of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, J&K Police, in collaboration with Government High School Watergam, organised a Debate Competition on the theme “Sardar Patel and the Formation of Indian Civil Services.”
Students participated with great enthusiasm, presenting their views on Sardar Patel’s vision, leadership, and decisive role in shaping India’s administrative framework. Officers of Sopore Police and school authorities were present on the occasion and encouraged students to draw inspiration from Sardar Patel’s life, values, and contribution to nation-building. Earlier competitions under the same theme were successfully held at Degree College Sopore and SRM Welkin School Sopore.
J&K Police remains committed to organising such youth-centric programmes that promote awareness, patriotism, and community engagement across the Police district.
