The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, staff members, and representatives of various institutions.
Participants carried placards and raised slogans promoting a drug-free society. The rally moved through the main market areas of Kulgam, drawing public attention and reinforcing the message of “Say No to Drugs.”
The event was presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kulgam, Viqar Ahmed Giri, ACD, Bilal Ahmad Kamgar,
District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO) Kulgam, Sonabar Altaf and other officers also participated in the event and appreciated the collective efforts of students, teachers, and staff in combating the menace of drug abuse.
Alongside the rally, an awareness programme was organised at the Conference-cum-Auditorium Hall of the Mini Secretariat, where students, teachers, and staff members participated actively.
A pledge-taking ceremony was also held, reaffirming commitment towards building a drug-free society.
