Ramban: Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan, Monday convened a meeting of Revenue officers to review the status and progress on Revenue Court Cases and the services being provided under the Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA).
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Shokat Hayat Mattoo; SDM Banihal, Mohammad Naseeb Bajran; SDM Gool, Imtiaz Ahmed; SDM Ramsoo, Syed Mazahir Hussain Shah, besides all Tehsildars and Revenue officials.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of ensuring timely disposal of all pending cases to maintain transparency and accountability in the functioning of the Revenue Department.
While reviewing compliance to PGSA, the DC asked for providing the public services within the stipulated time frame as mandated under the Act. He directed officers that any delay or negligence in service delivery would be viewed seriously.
The Deputy Commissioner also directed the Tehsildars to ensure timely attestation of mutations, issuance of revenue and other certificates, besides updating of revenue records to maintain accuracy and transparency in the system.
