B’gam : District Police Lines in collaboration with District Administration Budgam hosted a grand event to commemorate the 150th completion anniversary of India’s National Song, ‘Vande Mataram’.
The event saw widespread participation from diverse sections, including dedicated personnel from the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP), the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and students participated enthusiastically, joining hands with the forces to mark this historic milestone.
The highlight of the celebration was the collective singing of the National Song, ‘Vande Mataram’, by all participants, demonstrating a deep respect for the song’s enduring legacy as a symbol of unity and national identity.
Following the main event at the District Police Lines, a similar public gathering was organized at the New Bus Adda Budgam, allowing the public participation in the commemorative celebrations and sharing in the patriotic spirit.
The successful organization of these gatherings underscores the commitment of the community and the security forces in Budgam to uphold and celebrate the nation’s culture and patriotism.
