Distt Admin Kupwara Designates Nodal Officers for Smooth Operation of Subsidized Helicopter Services to snowbound areas

Kupwara : To ensure smooth and hassle-free operation of subsidized helicopter services to the remote and snowbound areas of Karnah, Keran, and Machil, the District Administration Kupwara has designated Nodal Officers for each location.

As per an order issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, the officers who have been appointed as Nodal Officers for the smooth coordination and operation of helicopter services in their respective jurisdictions include Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Kupwara, Arshid Qadir Bhat, Nodal Officer for District Police Lines Kupwara (Contact: 9906518530), Tehsildar Karnah, Mohammad Amin Bhat, for Karnah (Contact: 7006248450 ), Tehsildar Keran, Idris Sidiq Sofi, for Keran (Contact: 9906532260), Tehsildar Machil, Saqib Saleem, for Machil (Contact: 7006878772).

Similarly, the ACP Office Kupwara, SDM Office Karnah, and Tehsil Offices of Keran and Machil have been designated as ticketing counters for their respective areas to facilitate the general public.

Furthermore, The ALC Office Kupwara has also been directed to hand over previous records to the ACP Office Kupwara under proper acknowledgement, with a copy to be furnished to the DC Office.

The designated Nodal Officers have been instructed to ensure proper maintenance of daily records, smooth coordination of helicopter operations, and timely submission of reports to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office.

This initiative aims to streamline helicopter services and ensure better winter connectivity for the residents of the far-flung and snowbound areas of Kupwara district.
