Kishtwar | :  As part of its ongoing commitment towards community welfare and public safety, J&K Bank Thursday donated traffic barricades to the District Administration Kishtwar here at a programme held in the DC Office complex.

The CSR initiative, undertaken under the overall guidance of Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Kumar Sharma, aims to strengthen traffic management and road safety measures in the region.

The barricades were handed over by Cluster Head, J&K Bank Khurshid Ahmed Akhoon to ARTO Tasleem Wani, who received them on behalf of the District administration.

Speaking on the occasion, the Cluster Head said the initiative forms part of the bank’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, focusing on public safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable community development.

“This contribution is a small step towards promoting safer roads and assisting the administration in managing traffic more effectively. As a responsible corporate institution, we are proud to be part of community development and safety initiatives” -he stated.

Expressing appreciation, the ARTO thanked J&K bank for its valuable contribution and noted that such partnerships between public institutions and responsible Corporates play a key role in improving civic infrastructure and ensuring public welfare.

The event was attended by officials from the Transport Department and bank representatives.
