However, services under the Mother and Child Department are excluded, with a separate package outlined in the MoU. The Director of NIT Srinagar, Prof. Binod Kumar Kanaujia, emphasized the significance of this MoU in promoting institutional welfare, stating that it aligns with the institute’s commitment to the health and well-being of its faculty and staff. Dr. Murtuza Habib, Facility Director at Paras Health Srinagar, noted that the partnership aims to enhance health benefits for NIT employees while contributing to community health in the region. Registrar Prof. Atikur Rehman welcomed the collaboration as a vital initiative for employee welfare, aiming to alleviate challenges in accessing affordable medical treatment. The MoU is designed to ensure comprehensive, reliable healthcare, with the adoption of CGHS cash rates expected to lessen the financial burden of medical expenses. Paras Health Srinagar’s NABH accreditation guarantees adherence to quality standards.
