DDC Kulgam reviews department wise works under Distt Capex

DC directs officers to improve desired physical, financial progress of approved works

DC Kulgam reviews functioning of Rev Dept, Directs timely delivery of all services, disposal of grievances

Kulgam : To review the progress of works under the District Capex Plan for the ongoing year (2025-26) in the district, District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan Thursday chaired a meeting at Mini-Secretariat, here.
DDC took department wise progress of physical and financial achievements of ongoing public works in the district.
He emphasized the need for efficiency in the project lifecycle, urging officials to expedite the execution process and complete the works within a given time frame.
He instructed officials to prioritize the estimations of already identified works under different schemes including Distt. Capex, PRI, and CDF with significant public benefits, and immediately improve physical and financial progress.
District Capex Plan includes various development projects viz. roads, bridges, paths, approach roads, drainages, playgrounds, irrigation works and public buildings including schools, health centres, improvement in LT/HT Network, Sub Stations and toilets for schools.
The review meeting was attended by CPO, ACD, and various district and sectoral officers.
