Doda: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Harvinder Singh Monday visited the rain-affected areas of Ghat, Jodhpur, and adjoining localities to assess the situation and take stock of damages caused by incessant rain.
During the visit, the DC interacted with local residents and patiently listened to their grievances, particularly regarding disruption of electricity and water supply. The public also raised demands related to restoration of road connectivity, drainage, and footpaths in the affected areas.
The Deputy Commissioner conducted on-ground inspection of roads, power supply infrastructure, drains and footpaths to evaluate the immediate needs of the residents.
He directed the concerned departments to take swift and effective measures for restoring essential services at the earliest and emphasized the importance of maintaining close coordination with the district administration to ensure timely redressal of public issues.
