Srinagar| : Dr. Tasaduk Hussain Itoo, a young doctor from Kashmir, has been nominated for the position of Early Career Director on the Board of Directors of the Endocrine Society, USA.

The nomination is a notable achievement that positions him among global leaders in hormone science and represents a historic milestone for the medical community in Kashmir. The Endocrine Society is a prominent international organization, and its Board plays a crucial role in shaping global policies and research priorities in the field. Dr. Tasaduk’s nomination highlights his resilience, academic excellence, and dedication to public health advocacy. He is recognized as a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health in the UK and the International Diabetes Federation in Belgium, underscoring his commitment to international collaboration in healthcare. If elected, he will assume office in June 2026, where he will represent the interests of young endocrinologists, provide mentorship, and develop strategies to tackle global health issues such as diabetes and obesity.
