DC Kupwara Shrikant Balasaheb Suse visits Handwara

Handwara | : Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Shrikant BalasahebSuse, conducted his first official visit to Sub Division Handwara Monday to review the progress of various administrative and developmental activities in the region.

During the visit, the DC closely reviewed the ongoing digitisation of Jamabandis and Cadastral maps, which are part of the broader land records modernization initiative. He stressed the importance of accuracy and timely completion of the digitisation work to ensure transparency and better service delivery to the public.

Suse also reviewed about disaster preparedness measures in the Sub Division in light of ongoing rains and weather predictions by MET department, along with other key administrative and developmental issues.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Handwara, Javeed Naseem Masoodi and other officers accompanied the Deputy Commissioner during the visit.

They provided a detailed overview of ongoing developmental projects and shared a comprehensive brief on the overall status of the Sub Division.

DC appreciated the efforts of the local administration and urged officers to maintain momentum in developmental works and public service delivery.
