Secy IT Deptt reviews Single Window System

Srinagar | : Secretary, Information Technology (IT) Department, Dr. Piyush Single, Tuesday chaired a high-level meeting at the Civil Secretariat, here, to review the progress on Single Window System and migration of the Data Centre.

The meeting was attended by Chief Executive Officer, Jammu and Kashmir e-Governance Agency; Managing Director, SICOP; Director Finance, Information Technology Department; Additional Secretaries, Information Technology Department; Additional Secretary, Industries & Commerce Department; Manager, SICOP and SeMT.

The participants deliberated on the end-to-end integration of services under the Single Window System, aimed at providing the citizens and businesses with seamless and unified access to government services. Discussions also focused on the current status of Data Centre migration, identifying key challenges, and setting timelines for completion of the pending tasks.

The Secretary stressed the importance of integration of Single Window System with all the stakeholders to serve the purpose of true means of single window and provide end-to-end service under this platform, enhanced service delivery and improved efficiency in governance processes.
