Rajouri celebrates perked up ABP ranking of Khawas block; Hosts Sampoornata Abhiyan Samman Samaroh

MP Main Altaf hails district admin for landmark achievement

Rajouri | :  The District Administration Rajouri Friday organized the NITI Aayog Aspirational Block Programme (Sampoornata Abhiyan Samman Samaroh) here at Dak Bungalow, celebrating the remarkable progress achieved under the Aspirational Block Programme in the Khawas block.

The programme was graced by Member of Parliament Mian Altaf Ahmed Larvi, who inaugurated the Akanksha Haat as a part of the week-long Sampoornata Abhiyan Samman Samaroh set up at Baila Bus Stand Rajouri. There, he inspected the departmental stalls showcasing developmental initiatives and welfare schemes.

The ceremonial proceedings at Dak Bungalow commenced with a brief introduction by ACP Sheraz Choudhary, followed by a formal welcome address by Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma.

The DC extended a warm welcome to the MP and all the team members from Khawas Block, acknowledging their dedication and efforts in significantly improving the block’s performance under NITI Aayog’s ranking framework.

A documentary film highlighting the transformation journey of Aspirational Block Khawas was screened, capturing the milestones achieved across health, education, agriculture and other developmental indicators.

The event also featured cultural performances by local artists, showcasing the vibrant talent and rich heritage of the region.

As a mark of appreciation, frontline workers, officials from district and block-level departments and other key contributors were felicitated by the dignitaries for their commendable efforts under the Sampoornata Abhiyan.

MP Mian Altaf Ahmed Larvi delivered the closing remarks, lauding the collective resolve and hard work demonstrated by the entire district administration and stakeholders.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by District Statistics and Evaluation Officer, Sandeep Sharma.

The programme was also attended by MLA Budhal Javed Iqbal Choudhary, DDC Doongi, ADC Budhal Dil Mir, Chief Planning Officer Maqsood Ahmed, ACD Auqil Naveed, Ex-En PDD Abdul Rasheed, Chief Medical Officer Manohar Lal Rana, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer and other district and sectoral officers.
