Says “J&K issue will be resolved, Unity Is Key To It”
Srinagar : National Conference (NC) President and former J&K chief minister, Dr Farooq Abdullah on Tuesday said that the terrorism can never succeed.
He was reacting to the Home Minister Amit Shah’s statement in the Parliament where he stated that all the three attackers involved in the Pahalgam attack have been neutralized.
In the special discussion on Operation Sindoor during the ongoing Monsoon Session in the Parliament, Shah said the terrorists were killed under Operation Mahadev on Monday. They were identified as Suleman alias Faizal, Afghani and Jibran.
Farooq said although he doesn’t know them (terrorists), only those who know them can identify whether they were the same. “If they are the same terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack, then it is a good thing. Terrorism can never succeed,” he said.
Furthermore, reacting to the statement of PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti wherein she stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi can resolve the issue of J&K, if he wants, Farooq said, “The issue of Jammu and Kashmir will be resolved. We need to stay united and work together and every issue can be resolved.
