5-day NEP Utsav-2025 begins at GHSS Girls Reasi with grand inaugural ceremony

Reasi | :  The five-day NEP Utsav 2025, commemorating the 5th Anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, took off at Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS) Reasi amid a grand ceremony.

Similar events were held across 712 schools of the district.  The event was organized by the Chief Education Officer, with a special emphasis on inclusion and empowerment of Children with Special Needs (CWSN).

The UTSAV was inaugurated by Member Legislative Assembly Reasi Kuldeep Raj Dubey- the Chief Guest in presence of Chief Education Officer Deepak Kumar Gupta, District Statistical Evaluation Officer Ashok Kumar, the host School Principal Sushma Mawa  and Principal GHSS(B) Deepak Kumar Sharma.

In his keynote address, the MLA highlighted the transformative initiatives of NEP 2020 promoting inclusivity, equity and accessibility in education. He lauded the efforts of the Education Department in ensuring that CWSN students are not left behind in the journey toward educational excellence.

The CEO, in his address, listed the objectives of NEP Utsav of spreading awareness, celebrating the NEP 2020 milestones, and recognizing best practices in implementation across schools. He also emphasized the significance of providing a supportive environment to diverse learners, including CWSN.

Earlier, the Principal GHSS(G) Reasi welcomed the guests and shared the school’s achievements in adopting NEP-aligned initiatives.

The NEP Utsav 2025 will continue till August 2, 2025, featuring educational, cultural, and capacity-building activities for holistic development, inclusion, and future-ready learning in line with NEP 2020.
