A major focus was laid on the implementation of Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK). He highlighted the importance of early detection of anaemia and other common disorders in children to enable timely medical interventions. While reviewing the district’s performance under the TB Elimination Programme, DHS urged for intensified field efforts to meet the national target of a TB-free India.

The Director also reviewed the performance under major NHM-supported initiatives such as e-Sanjeevani (Tele-Consultation), Tele-MANAS (Mental Health Counselling), Tele-ICUs, and free ambulance services.

While expressing satisfaction, he emphasized the need to enhance public awareness and ensure optimal operational efficiency so that every needy citizen can avail of these services.

Reviewing critical care infrastructure under the PM-Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM), Dr. Zargar assessed the status and timelines of ongoing projects and instructed for expedited completion without compromising quality.

Dr. Zargar appreciated the dedication of the district health team and urged them to maintain the momentum in ensuring accessible, accountable, and quality healthcare services across the District.
