Pulwama | :  Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI), as part of its ongoing efforts to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in the region, Wednesday organized an exclusive mentorship session with Prof. Sunil Handa, visiting faculty, IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore, founder Eklavya Education Foundation at its Main Campus, Pampore.

Prof. Handa delivered a two-hour keynote session to a select group of entrepreneurs and early-stage startups from across Jammu & Kashmir. The session focused on core principles of entrepreneurship, decision-making under uncertainty, and building scalable and sustainable ventures.

This marked the second session of Prof. Handa at JKEDI for mentoring startups, offering high-impact guidance drawn from his vast academic and entrepreneurial experience.

Following the keynote, Prof. Handa conducted one-on-one mentorship interactions with selected startups including Alhamdan Crafts, Tabernacle Softwares, Whizybase Technologies, Joyweavers, Nutkush, and others. Founders received tailored advice on refining their business models, addressing operational challenges, and aligning their ventures with long-term strategic goals.

Participants described the mentorship as highly transformative. “Prof. Handa’s insights challenged us to think beyond conventional solutions and helped us define a clearer path forward,” said one of the founders. Another added, “The depth of his experience brought a new level of clarity to our business approach.”

Through initiatives like these, JKEDI continues to play a pivotal role in strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Jammu & Kashmir, enabling startups to access national-level mentorship and navigate their growth journeys with confidence.
