Bandipora | : On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Bandipora, B.A Padder, on Tuesday convened a comprehensive review meeting to assess the functioning of the Rural Development Department (RDD) across the district.
During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held regarding the implementation of various rural development schemes and the overall working of the department. Officers and officials from different blocks of the district participated in the review session.
On the occasion, ACD Bandipora issued a set of instructions aimed at ensuring the smooth functioning of departmental operations, with a special focus on accelerating the pace of developmental activities. He stressed the need for timely execution and completion of all ongoing works under different schemes, emphasizing strict adherence to timelines and quality parameters.
The meeting also underscored the importance of field-level monitoring, transparency, and coordination among officials to achieve the developmental goals set by the administration.
ACD directed all officers to maintain regular progress reports and work proactively to address any bottlenecks that may hamper developmental initiatives in rural areas.
The meeting was attended by all Block Development Officers (BDOs), Ex. Engineer REW, AEs, JEs, Village Level Workers (VLWs), Panchayat Inspectors, Gram Rozgar Sevaks (GRSs), and all other officials of the Rural Development department.
