Srinagar | : Police on Thursday arrested three unlawfuls for gambling and seized ₹27,700 stake money along with playing cards from their possession.
In a statement issued here on Thursday Police said that arrests were made following specific intelligence regarding gambling activities in the Doninad area, adding therein that suspects were identified as Mohammad Ashraf Bahroo, Aqib Ahmed Dar, and Abdul Majeed Wani, all residents of Doninad. Stating that a case has been registered under FIR No. 74/2025, and further investigations are underway Police in its statement reiterated its commitment to maintaining law and order and warned that anyone engaging in illegal activities will face legal consequences.
