MLA Gulmarg Farooq Shah Seeks Relief , Compensation for Farmers Of Hailstorm Hit Areas Of His Constituency

Gulmarg : Hailstorm on Monday struck several villages in Gulmarg Constituency causing extensive damage to standing crops and fruit orchards. The affected areas witnessed considerable losses, leaving the local population distressed.
In a statement issued here on Monday MLA Gulmarg Farooq Ahmad Shah, expressed deep concern over the situation and urged the District Administration to immediately depute teams for ground assessment and ensure swift disbursement of compensation to the affected families. He said that a majority of the population in these areas are entirely dependent on agriculture and horticulture for their livelihood, and any delay in support could severely impact their survival and daily sustenance. Shah appealed for taking urgent steps to provide relief and extend all possible assistance to the affected people at the earliest.
