Srinagar : Srinagar Police has assistance of people in identifying an individual involved in a hit-and-run incident near Firdous Colony Eidgah, Srinagar.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that the accused was seen riding a two-wheeler (scooty) from Soura towards Safakadal when the incident occurred, adding therein that a case under FIR No. 63 of 2025 under section 281, 125 (A) BNS was registered at Police Station Safakadal in connection with the incident.
Police in the concluding para of its above quoted statement appealed that anyone who possesses any information regarding the suspect or the vehicle involved must come forward or dial PCR, Stating therein further that all information can be shared anonymously. Police also assured that any tips provided will be treated with the highest level of confidentiality.
