G’bal: District Administration Ganderbal Saturday joined the live streaming of the official launch of Mission YUVA by Hon’ble Chief Minister from SKICC, providing local youth and stakeholders the opportunity to witness the event in real-time.
The live streaming session was organized in the Conference Hall, Mini Secretariat Ganderbal, where entrepreneurs, youth beneficiaries and other line departments participated with great enthusiasm.
During the event, several local entrepreneurs, who have availed assistance under various self-employment schemes, shared their success stories. They expressed their gratitude for the government’s initiatives under Mission YUVA, which aim to empower youth through skill development, mentorship, and access to credit and market linkages.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore presided over the session as chief guest. He emphasized that Mission YUVA is a visionary step towards transforming the youth of J&K into job creators instead of job seekers.
He assured full support from the district administration in implementing the mission at the grassroots level by providing timely approvals, capacity building, and continuous handholding of young entrepreneurs.
On the occasion, Mudasir Ahmad, a budding entrepreneur from Ganderbal, shared his perspective on the Mission YUVA scheme during the live streaming of the official launch event.
He expressed appreciation for the scheme’s online and hassle-free application process.
Mudasir also outlined his future business expansion plans, mentioning that he intends to start a dry fruits and sorted fruits distribution center. He added that with the financial support under Mission YUVA, he aims to generate employment for 10 to 20 individuals, thereby contributing to the local economy.
Among others, the event was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Manzoor Ahmad Bhat; ACR Ganderbal, DIO NIC and other district and sectoral officers.
