Srinagar: President J&K National Conference and former Chief Minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah has vehemently condemned the heinous Pahalgam militant attack as a despicable crime against humanity.
In a strongly worded statement, Dr. Farooq expressed deep shock and anguish at the tragic loss of innocent lives in today’s heart-wrenching incident. He extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, offering thoughts and prayers during this time of unimaginable loss. He said that violence has no place in a civilized society, and such acts only serve to deepen the wounds of our people.
Joining Dr. Farooq in denouncing the attack were other top leaders of the party, including General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar and other party functionaries. The collective sentiment among party members was one of outrage at what they described as a criminal act against humanity.
