Rajouri : Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University has been granted access to a vast collection of academic resources under the Government of India’s prestigious One Nation, One Subscription (ONOS) initiative.
As part of this initiative, BGSB University users can now access over 13,000 high-quality journals from leading publishers across various academic disciplines. This access is currently available within the university campus through institutional IP-based authentication.
Prof. Jawaid Iqbal, Vice Chancellor of BGSB University, expressed his enthusiasm about this development and stated,“This is a transformative step for our academic community. Access to such a vast range of scholarly journals will significantly enhance research quality, support innovative thinking, and foster a culture of academic excellence at BGSB University. I encourage our students and faculty to make full use of this valuable resource.”
He further added,
“The One Nation, One Subscription initiative is a commendable move by the Government of India to democratize access to knowledge and research across the country. At BGSB University, we are committed to nurturing an environment that promotes inquiry, scholarship, and scientific temper. This access to premier journals will empower our scholars to contribute meaningfully to global research and innovation.”
Prof. M. J. Warsi, Dean of Academic Affairs, also welcomed the initiative and said, “This access will greatly enrich our academic framework and facilitate interdisciplinary research. It opens new doors for our scholars to explore, collaborate, and innovate at both national and international levels.”
