Bandipora : Police on Tuesday seized two L&T heavy earthmoving machines and imposed a fine of ₹45,050 during a night raid against illegal stone extraction in SK Bala.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday Police said that a team from Police Post Ajas and Mining Department raided the location at around 2:00 AM. Both machines were seized under the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act for unlawful extraction of natural resources.
