Police organises awareness Progs on new criminal laws in Pulwama, Handwara

Srinagar : Police organized awareness programmes on new criminal laws at Community Hall Pulwama, Modern Tech Computer Institute Pulwama & Bright Career Institute Vilgam Handwara here on Friday.
Iin Pulwama, the programmes were attended by members of civil society, employees of the Municipality, students and representatives from various government departments. These initiatives aimed to educate participants on essential aspects of new criminal laws, fostering awareness and legal understanding among the general public and officials. During these sessions, key speakers from Pulwama Police highlighted the significance of adhering to the law, understanding its provisions, and contributing to a law-abiding society. Attendees were encouraged to collaborate with law enforcement by reporting any violations or suspicious activities.
In Handwara, participating police officers highlighted the key aspects of the new criminal laws, explaining their impact on society and underscoring the importance of adhering to legal norms for maintaining law and order. Students actively participated in the interactive session, seeking clarifications on various legal provisions and voicing their queries. The initiative aimed to familiarize students with new legal provisions to ensure they remain informed and compliant with the evolving legal framework.
