MP Jugal Kishore Sharma Chairs DISHA Meeting In Reasi, Emphasizes On Fast-Tracking Dev Projects Across Reasi

Reasi : Member of Parliament (LokSabha) from Jammu-Samba-Reasi constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma on Saturday presided over the District Development Coordination & Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting here.
The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of various Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) and ongoing development projects in the district.
During the meeting, the MP took detailed assessment of physical and financial review of all major central sponsored schemes ongoing in Reasi.
Addressing the officers during the meeting, Jugal Kishore highlighted that Reasi is poised for holistic development, with new projects on the horizon and pending works being fast-tracked.
He directed officials to complete their targets within stipulated time frame so that beneficiaries get timely services. He also emphasised on collaborative approach among departments to ensure the timely completion of projects especially projects related to road infrastructure, education, health and engineering works. He highlighted the need for collective field visits by officials and public representatives to enhance public service delivery.
The MP directed officers to adhere to project timelines and prioritize resolving issues raised by DDC Chairperson, MLAs, and other members during the meeting. He encouraged the use of modern technology to ensure the saturation of government services. He also stressed the optimal utilization of resources and urged officers to monitor and follow up on the progress of ongoing development works closely.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner, VisheshMahajan gave a comprehensive presentation on the achievements and progress of various CSS initiatives, alongside the status of key developmental projects being executed across Reasi like Delhi-Amritsar–Katra Expressway, Chenab bridge, Anjibridge and others.
The meeting witnessed participation of DDC Chairperson Saraf Singh Nag; MLA ReasiKuldeep Raj Dubey; MLA Mata Vaishno Devi, Baldev Raj Sharma; MLA Gulabgarh (ST) Khurshied Ahmed; Vice Chairperson, SajraQadir; SSP Paramvir Singh; ADDC SukhdevSamyal and other district and sectoral officers.
