DC B’la undertakes Extensive Evaluation of Kissan Khidmat Ghars throughout Distt

Baramulla : In a bid to evaluate the services extended to the agricultural community, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, along with Additional District Development Commissioner Syed Qamar Sajad, carried out a comprehensive assessment of various Kissan Khidmat Ghars within the district.
These agricultural service centers are established to meet the varied requirements of local farmers, providing essential resources and support services that promote sustainable farming practices and enhance agricultural productivity.
During the inspections, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the array of services available, which include access to high-quality seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, machinery, and other agricultural necessities.
Each Kissan Khidmat Ghar is designed to function as a centralized resource hub, facilitating farmers’ access to vital materials and services in a single location.
Minga Sherpa also engaged with both the staff and visiting farmers, collecting feedback on the centers’ effectiveness in addressing the challenges encountered by the local agricultural sector.
He emphasized the importance of timely and efficient service delivery, underscoring the centers’ role in empowering farmers by improving resource accessibility and keeping them informed about new initiatives and support programs.
The Deputy Commissioner reaffirmed the administration’s dedication to advancing the agricultural sector in Baramulla through such initiatives, which aim to enhance agricultural productivity, increase farmers’ income, and ultimately improve the livelihoods of those within the farming community.
