Srinagar: A man allegedly stabbed to death his cousin in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Sunday, police said.
They said the incident took place in the Parimpora area today after an altercation on an issue erupted, resulting in the stabbing of 23-year-old Amir Razak Mir by his cousin Zareef Ahmad Mir.
Mir was critically injured and was taken to a nearby health facility, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The accused has been arrested by the police along with the weapon used to commit the crime.
Police have initiated further investigation into the matter.
