Beirut: Fighters from Lebanese movement Hezbollah prevented an attempt by Israeli troops to cross the border near the Israeli settlement of Manara, the movement said in a statement.
“Islamic resistance fighters attacked enemy concentrations near the settlement of Manara,” the statement says.
According to the press service, Israeli ambulance services are evacuating the wounded and dead from the site of the attack.
Another attempt to cross the border was prevented in the border settlement of Blida.
“An artillery strike was launched against a group of enemy forces, forcing them to retreat to their original positions,” the statement says.
