DC B’pora visits upper areas of Boninar Onagam, Assesses the needs & challenges faced by locals

Bandipora : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel ul Rehman on Saturday visited the upper areas of Boninar Onagam to assess and address the needs and challenges faced by locals.
During the visit, the DC interacted with locals to gain firsthand insights into infrastructure and healthcare accessibility, and concerns specific to the area, including road connectivity via Onagam and the need for additional staff at High School Boninar.
After patiently listening to the issues and concerns of the public, the DC assured prompt redressal of all the genuine issues on priority.
He said that the administration is dedicated to addressing the challenges faced by people in the upper areas, and visiting these areas allows one to better understand the challenges faced by people and work towards sustainable solutions to their concerns.
He emphasized the administration’s commitment to ensuring equitable access to essential services for all.
The DC also visited Govt. High School Boninar and interacted with students and teachers to gather feedback and assess the educational requirements of the area.
During the visit, the DC was accompanied by Vice Chairperson District Development Council, Kousar Shafeeq; ACD, Irfan Bahadur; Tehsildar Bandipora, Executive Engineer R&B, Executive Engineer Jal Shakti and other concerned officers and officials.
